Bill Scott is a man of many talents and interests. A graduate of the University of Maryland, where he earned degrees in journalism and then law, Bill moved on to Harvard for his Master of Laws degree before establishing a successful 50-year career as an attorney in commercial real estate. But that’s just the beginning: He’s an avid traveler who has visited more than 75 countries, a big fan of magic, and even a member of the Psychic Entertainers Association!
Bill came to The Seneca after losing his leg due to a fall—and seeking to find a supportive community that was accessible to his needs as an amputee. While many other communities offered an elevator, their common areas and residences weren’t as wheelchair-friendly as The Seneca, which provides both support and accessibility. Here, he attends Amputee Support Group meetings, where he is inspired to push beyond his limits.
Happy in his new home (where he’s also a fan of the food), the grandfather of five also enjoys the fact his grandchildren like spending time at The Seneca and dining with him at the various restaurants.
